How it works
How a private investigator for a cheating spouse works with you
Unhurried, lawful and paced to you. You decide every step — nothing begins without your go-ahead.
A quiet first conversation
Free and confidential — at our Lavender office, by phone or on WhatsApp. We listen without judgement and answer honestly.
Assessment & plan
We check what is lawful and feasible, focus on the days and places that matter, and give you a clear quotation.
Discreet surveillance
Licensed investigators observe in public and legally accessible places, documenting with time-stamped photos and video.
Report & debrief
You receive a confidential report and we walk you through it calmly — including when to speak to a family lawyer.
Emotional readiness
Be prepared for either answer
Before you begin, pause. The truth brings relief or pain — often both. Knowing how you might respond helps you act with clarity rather than in the heat of the moment.
Ifyour fears are confirmed
- You will have facts instead of doubts — take time before you act.
- Speak to a family lawyer before confronting anyone or moving out.
- Keep the report private; don’t share it in anger or online.
- If children are involved, keep their routines steady and their welfare first.
- Lean on trusted support — a friend, counsellor or faith community.
Ifnothing untoward is found
- Let the relief in — a clean result is a real answer.
- The unease may still be telling you something about the relationship.
- Couples counselling can help rebuild communication and trust.
- We report honestly what we saw, and never inflate findings.
- You can close the question and move forward with certainty.
- What will I do if my suspicion is confirmed?
- What will I do if it isn’t?
- Who can support me through either outcome?
- Am I and my children safe right now?
Within the law
How we catch a cheating spouse — and the lines we never cross
Evidence only helps you if it was gathered lawfully. Unlawful “evidence” can be excluded — and can expose you to liability.
What we do
- Surveillance in public and legally accessible places — malls, MRT, CBD streets, public car parks
- Time-stamped photo & video of what happens in public view
- Pre-marital checks from lawful, official records such as ACRA
- Need-to-know handling of your case, in line with the PDPA
- Reports prepared with your lawyer and the Family Justice Courts in mind
- Honest advice when surveillance isn’t the right tool
What we will never do
- Hack or read your spouse’s phone, WhatsApp, email or social media
- Place a GPS tracker on a car you don’t lawfully own or control
- Enter homes, condo units, hotel rooms or other private property
- Obtain bank, telco or medical records
- Film into private spaces such as through windows
- Set up “honey traps” or entrap anyone
Singapore context
Divorce evidence in Singapore: what to know
General information only — not legal advice.
Adultery and the Women’s Charter
In Singapore, a divorce is granted when a marriage has broken down irretrievably. Under the Women’s Charter, adultery is one of the facts that can be used to show this.
The Family Justice Courts
Divorce, custody and maintenance matters are heard by the Family Justice Courts. Clear, well-documented evidence helps your lawyer present facts rather than impressions.
Lawfully obtained, or not at all
Evidence should be gathered lawfully. Secretly accessing a spouse’s phone or accounts can breach the Computer Misuse Act — and harm your case.
Children come first
In custody matters, the welfare of the child is the court’s central concern. Our family and custody investigations focus on care arrangements, not point-scoring.
Your privacy, protected
Your personal data and case details are handled in line with the PDPA, on a strict need-to-know basis, from first call to final report.
We’re not a law firm. Before you act on findings — or confront anyone — speak to a family lawyer about your options.

FAQ
Infidelity investigation questions, answered honestly
How much does an infidelity investigation cost in Singapore?
It depends on the scope — how many investigators are needed, over how many days or evenings, at which locations, and what reporting you need. After a free, confidential consultation we give you a clear quotation before any work begins, so there are no surprises.
Is it legal to hire a private investigator to follow my spouse in Singapore?
Yes, when you engage an agency licensed by the Singapore Police Force and the surveillance stays in public or legally accessible places. Ranger holds Private Investigation Agency Licence L/PS/000759/2025. We never trespass, hack devices or access private records.
Can surveillance evidence be used in divorce proceedings at the Family Justice Courts?
Potentially, yes. Under the Women’s Charter, adultery is one of the facts that can show a marriage has broken down irretrievably. Evidence that is lawfully obtained and properly documented is far more useful to your lawyer. We are not a law firm — your family lawyer will advise how, and whether, to use it.
Will my spouse find out that I hired an investigator?
Our investigators are trained to work discreetly, and your case is handled on a strict need-to-know basis in line with the PDPA. We also advise you on protecting your own privacy — for example, not reading updates on a shared phone or laptop.
What if the investigation finds nothing?
Then you have an answer too. A clean, well-documented result can give real peace of mind. We report honestly what we observed — including when nothing untoward is happening — and never exaggerate findings.
Can you track my spouse’s car with GPS or check their phone messages?
No. Placing a tracker on a vehicle you don’t lawfully own or control, or accessing someone’s phone, WhatsApp or accounts without authority, can breach Singapore law, including the Computer Misuse Act. We work only through lawful observation and records.
What does a pre-marital background check in Singapore cover?
It verifies identity, marital status history, financial standing, ACRA business records and legal records from lawful, official sources. It is especially useful for international relationships and family-arranged introductions.
How long does a matrimonial investigation take?
It depends on the pattern you have noticed. We plan observation around the days and times that matter most, so some cases need only a few sessions while others need repeated windows. We give you a realistic plan and timeline at the start.
