EVENTS
Line A crossedVehicle in no-parking zoneLoitering at main gateVideo analytics is software that watches CCTV feeds for events you define — line crossing, loitering, intrusion into a zone, objects left behind, crowding — and sends real-time alerts. Security system integration puts CCTV, access control, alarms and intercom on one platform with central control and automation. Ranger designs both, and a person always verifies before anyone responds.

What we set up
AI video surveillance and an integrated security platform
Five building blocks, designed together so alerts are meaningful and your team works from one screen. Choose one to see what’s included.
Cameras that notice — so people don’t have to stare at screens.
AI CCTV analytics watches your camera views for the events you define and flags them in real time. We set zones and schedules around your real risks — a perimeter after hours, a loading bay at night, a lobby at peak times — so alerts stay meaningful. Analytics reduce false alarms but don’t eliminate them; a person always has the final say.
Try the analytics rule builder
Commonly used for
- Intrusion into defined zones
- Line crossing on fences, gates and doorways
- Loitering near entrances and bays
- Object left behind in lobbies and corridors
- People counting and crowd density
One platform instead of five apps.
An integrated security platform brings CCTV, access control, alarms and intercom together — a unified platform offering central control, system automation, real-time alerts and data analytics. Think of it as a unified security dashboard (sometimes called PSIM): one place to see events, video and door status, with one set of rules.
Ask about integrating your systems
Commonly used for
- CCTV, access control, alarms and intercom on one platform
- Central control and unified security dashboard
- Compatibility check of existing equipment
- Role-based operator accounts and audit trail
- Single-site or multi-site set-ups
The right alert, to the right person — with the video attached.
Real-time security alerts go to a control room screen, a security desk or a manager’s phone, carrying a snapshot or clip and the camera location so the event can be checked in seconds. We set schedules, escalation if an alert isn’t acknowledged, and quiet rules for busy hours. For round-the-clock eyes on screen, pair it with remote monitoring.
Commonly used for
- Alerts to control room, security desk or mobile
- Snapshot or clip attached to each alert
- Escalation when an alert isn’t acknowledged
- Schedules by zone, day and time
- Verification before anyone is dispatched
See patterns, not just incidents.
Dashboards turn events into insight: when doors are propped open, which gates see the most after-hours activity, how footfall moves through a lobby, and which alerts turn out to be false. Those reports help you adjust staffing and tune rules — with access limited to the people who need it.
Commonly used for
- Event and alarm trends by site, zone and time
- People counting and occupancy reports
- Door-held-open and forced-door reports
- False-alarm review to tune rules
- Role-based access to data and exports
When a door is forced, the camera is already on screen.
System automation links events across devices. A door event pulls up the nearest camera; arming the alarm switches on after-hours analytics zones; a line crossing at night turns on lights and bookmarks the video. Any automatic locking is designed with fire safety in mind, so escape routes always release.
Commonly used for
- Door event pulls up the nearest camera
- Alarm arming switches analytics zones on
- Automatic video bookmarks for every event
- Lights, sirens or strobes on verified events
- Fail-safe design for doors on escape routes

Our process
How we deliver video analytics & integration
Five steps, with a settling-in period so alerts earn your trust before you rely on them.
Consultation & site survey
We learn what worries you, walk the site and list the cameras, doors, panels and intercoms you already have.
Risk & privacy review
We agree the events that matter, the purpose of each rule, retention and who can see footage — PDPA-aware from the start.
Design & proposal
Rules, integrations, dashboards and alert routes, with what can be reused — in an itemised proposal.
Install, connect & tune
We connect systems, set zones and schedules, then tune during a settling-in period to cut false alarms.
Handover & review
Training for your team, clear escalation paths and periodic reviews as your site and routines change.

PDPA essentials for analytics
- Purpose limitation: use analytics for the security purpose you’ve notified, not for unrelated monitoring.
- Notices: tell people CCTV is in operation where the PDPA applies.
- Access control to footage: limit who can view, export or share clips — and log it.
- Retention: keep footage and event data only as long as needed.
- Extra care: features like facial recognition raise additional PDPA considerations.

- CBD offices & commercial towers
- After-hours lobbies, loading docks and server rooms. Building management often runs its own systems, so we agree which cameras and doors are yours to connect before designing rules.
- Condominiums & MCST estates
- Car park no-parking zones, bin centres and side gates. Analytics on common property need MCST approval and clear notices — and should never look into residents’ units.
- Industrial sites in Jurong & Tuas
- Long perimeter fences, yards and vehicle gates, often unmanned at night. Line crossing and intrusion zones, paired with good lighting, work well here.
- Warehouses & logistics near Changi
- Loading bays, parcel areas and vehicle movements around the clock. Object-left-behind and vehicle rules help, with bookmarks that make incident review quick.
- Retail, F&B & malls
- People counting and crowd density at entrances, plus after-hours intrusion alerts. Mall units usually need the landlord’s agreement for cabling and devices.
Privacy-first by design
Our lines on AI video surveillance
What we design in
- Rules tied to a clear security purpose you can explain
- Zones drawn around your own premises, with privacy masking where views overlap neighbours
- Role-based access to footage and event data, with logs
- Retention periods agreed up front, then automatic overwrite
- A person verifies alerts before anyone is dispatched
- Door automation that always lets people out in an emergency
What we won’t do
- Promise zero false alarms or perfect detection
- Switch on facial recognition by default
- Point analytics into neighbours’ units or private spaces
- Use footage or event data beyond the purpose you’ve notified
- Leave platforms on default passwords or open to the internet
- Connect systems you aren’t authorised to control

FAQ
Analytics & integration FAQs
What is video analytics in CCTV?
Video analytics is software that watches camera feeds for specific events you define — someone crossing a virtual line, loitering near a gate, entering a restricted zone after hours, an object left behind or a crowd building up — and raises an alert with the video attached. It helps people notice what matters without staring at screens all day.
Does AI video analytics eliminate false alarms?
No. Well-tuned analytics reduce false alarms, but rain, shadows, reflections, animals and changes on site can still trigger events. We tune zones and schedules during a settling-in period, review them with you, and design the response so a person verifies the video before anyone is sent.
What is security system integration?
Security system integration connects CCTV, access control, alarms and intercom onto one unified platform, with central control, system automation, real-time alerts and data analytics. Instead of juggling separate apps, your team sees one dashboard — and events can trigger each other, such as a forced door bringing up the nearest camera.
Can you integrate my existing CCTV, access control and alarm systems?
Often, yes. At the survey we check which cameras, recorders, door controllers and alarm panels can be connected, and what would need upgrading. Connecting what you already have is usually more economical than replacing everything, and we’ll tell you plainly where it isn’t.
Is AI video surveillance allowed under the PDPA in Singapore?
Organisations can use CCTV and analytics for security, but the PDPA still applies: be clear about the purpose, notify people that CCTV is in operation, protect and limit access to footage, and keep it only as long as needed. Features like facial recognition raise extra PDPA considerations, so we advise on privacy-appropriate analytics. We’re not a law firm — speak to your lawyer for specific obligations.
Who responds when an analytics alert is triggered?
You decide. Alerts can go to your own staff’s phones, your security desk or control room. If you want trained people watching and responding around the clock, pair the system with our integrated security and remote monitoring — licensed officers backed by a monitoring team.
How much do video analytics and system integration cost?
It depends on how many cameras and doors are involved, what can be reused, the analytics rules you need and whether a control room or dashboard is included. We start with a free consultation and site survey, then send an itemised proposal before any work begins.
